Oh, Joe, Oh Sarah

Good evening. You know, I was sitting back thinking about why Sen. Barack Obama chose Sen. Joe Biden. Was it the fact that some say that Obama has "little to no foreign policy experience?" Or what it something else. We, those of us that watch and keep up with current events, know that Biden can be a little assertive.

What about Biden's comments today? Will he hurt or help the Obama campaign in the end?
Here is Biden in his own words, with respect to special needs children:

"I hear all this talk about how the Republicans are going to work in dealing with parents who have both the joy ... and the difficulty of raising a child who has a developmental disability, who were born with a birth defect." Biden went on to speak about stem cell research, saying essential why not support it if you care for special needs children. (check out the article on CNN.com)

What about Sarah Palin's trip to Texas about a month before the birth of her son to give a speech, knowing that she was "leaking amniotic fluids?" Is this what a responsible person is supposed to be doing? How do you think, if elected, she will care for the issues of Americans is she showed little care for her unborn child? (check out the article on MSNBC.com)

All that to say this...who cares the most?

My very first impression of Biden was that he was a very outspoken say-what-i-wanna-say-and-eff-you-if-you-don't-like-it guy. I think he compliments Obama with that respect -- who can tend to be a little soft at times.

Now to Sarah Palin. Well, actually, she doesn't even warrant an opinion from me. Not worth the thoughts, which I don't even get pennies for.

Peace,

S-

I tend to think of Biden as a bit of a blow-hard. That being said his criticism of Palin is not without merit. Thus far, however, I haven't heard any criticism of her that was without merit.

She's a crude bigot as evidenced by her "Sambo beat the bitch" comment, an authoritarian nutcase as indicated by her attempt at book banning, and a big bag of fundamentalist crazy of the kind which could only be cultured in the barren wastes of Alaska.

Unfortunately talking about her gives her credibility which she does not deserve, but going from the mayor of a town of 5000 to potential President of the country? As Dan Bartlett would say, "You gotta be kidding me!"
