On Healthcare

Comprehensive healthcare reform is going to be scrapped if everyone's favorite Senatorial she-man has her/his/its way.

Oh Lindsay, why can't we have access to the same healthcare that pays for your hormone treatments that keep you from turning back into a man?

Check out this Genius

Another up-and-coming shining star from the treasure chest of Republican brilliance (i.e. SC).
David Thomas is another one of those twisted creations with a huge inferiority complex. Of course if I looked like the love child of E.T. and Ernest Borgnine I might possibly feel a tad inferior. This cute little fella looks like he might have himself a hankerin' for some real power, of the D.C. variety.

The 8th Plague

Folks in DC love to hate outsiders, since their city is one big lettuce patch as it were. However, in the case of these little piss-ant interns who show up every summer, I feel that the good citizens of the District of Columbia have good reason. These tiny self-important, weazely, wannabe Congress critters clog the metro and stop traffic to run their pointless errands all in the hopes of someday grabbing the reins of power.

Luckily, here is a well kept account of the exploits of these devious little vermin so you too can share in the suffering of those who dwell and work within the Capital Beltway.

No One Could 'Spectorlate' This

Well, after months of wondering what was going to happen in Washington, DC, and the make-up of the current US Senate, we now have a firm suggestion as to what might happen. Sen. Arlen Spector of Pennsylvania, formerly a Republican, announced Tuesday that he was going to switch from the Republican to the Democratic Party. Spector was a moderate for the Republicans in the senate and one of three Senators a few months ago to vote for the large stimulus package that President Obama pushed for.

Spector's move now puts the Democrats closer to the 60 votes they need to be virtually 'unstoppable,' assuming Al Franken is put in the Senate from Minnesota. Time will tell.
